Twenty years making digital stick in organisations not built for it.

Twenty years making digital stick in organisations not built for it.

The work keeps finding me in the same place: complex environments where digital has to earn its place, where alignment isn't given, and where the foundations don't yet exist. Across markets, teams, and leadership cultures that needed something to shift.

Much of that work is cultural before it is structural: rebuilding trust in fractured teams, shifting how organisations think about digital, and creating the conditions for high performance where dysfunction was the norm.

The Book

Unresolved, my first book, is out now.

How complex organisations move, stall, and cost the people who lead them. A series of observations, drawn from over a decade inside them, on what stays unresolved even when the strategy is right.

Down the Rabbit Hole

In Focus

Currently serving as Vice President Digital at Vorwerk , leading enterprise digital transformation across European markets: product, platform, e-commerce, and the organisational work that makes it stick.

Alongside that, I advise founders and leadership teams navigating growth, complexity, and digital transformation, through niklausgerber.com/advisory.

Elsewhere

Open to conversations about executive leadership, board advisory roles, and organisations where digital is the core challenge — not an add-on. A small number of advisory engagements available each year.

Playground

I build tools when the thinking needs a shape. Lately that means hands-on experiments with agentic AI. Some solve a problem for my own team first, then find a wider audience. All of them are how I stress-test an idea before it becomes something bigger.
